What is a Private App?

A private app is one that can’t be downloaded from an app store and is only available for use within your organization, for purposes of evaluation or production. A private web app or web page is one that is hosted on an intranet site or behind a firewall/password protection but that your team/organization are actively developing with or interacting with as users.

When do I need an Enterprise Plan?

If your app is not publicly available and intended for use by more than 500 monthly active users, or if you require your map data to be hosted on premise, then our Enterprise Plan is for you. Enterprise plans can include Data Integration and include our highest level of customer support.

What is a Web Map View?

A map view is recorded any time a user loads an online 3D map from WRLD in a browser for a single session or use. This is measured by static API requests to our server to provide map tiles.

What is a Paid App?

A paid app is an app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store that users have to pay to download.

What happens if I exceed the limits of my free price plan?

We charge $0.50 per extra 1,000 web map views or $0.50 per extra 1,000 monthly active users. We will send you an email notifying you of the extra usage and give you some time to pay. Your maps will continue to work in the short term while we arrange the new payment with you.

How do you price for Unity?

For Unity we will apply tariffs the same way we do for other apps. For example, Unity mobile apps are charged based on the number of monthly active users. All other Unity apps are charged based on the number of map views.

What's your Payment Policy?

When you sign up to a price plan with us, we'll send you an invoice each month which covers the forthcoming month. This will continue for the period of your subscription to the WRLD platform. All payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date. If payment is not made your account may be archived until we've received the payment that is due.
